- Project involved preparing the geological well design and obtaining approval for Koło GT-1 well to a depth of 2700 metres. It also includes preparing an appendix to the design for the well to reach TD of 3600 metres.
- Preparation of the application for funding the drilling of Koło GT-1 well, within the scope of the Priority Programme for Geology and Mining, to gain insight into the geological structure of the country. Obtainment of funding in the amount of 100% of eligible investment costs.
- Preparation of applications for funding from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) under the Operational Programmes for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development (POIiŚ) 2014-2020, Action 1.5. The objective of this project is to implement an effective distribution of heat and cold for the Municipal Heating Company. This will be achieved through the following activities:
- The modernisation of the existing network of heat pipes, which will be carried out using pre-insulated pipes.
- The construction of a new network of heat pipes. The project includes the construction of a district heating network in the pre-insulated pipe technology for the Old Town area and the Płaszczyzna district.
- It also aims to obtain funding for the following investment: The construction of a geothermal heat pump plant in Koło, with the subsequent integration into the existing MZEC Sp. z o.o. heating system, is being financed under the 1.1.1 sub-section. The programme also supports investments in renewable energy generation, including the connection of these sources to the distribution and transmission networks. This is in line with the Priority axis of the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment for the 2014-2020 period, which aims to reduce the emissions intensity of the economy.
- The programme provides support for the following: “Construction of a geothermal power station in Koło, with connection to the existing MZEC Sp. z o.o. heating system.”
- Provision of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services, ensuring the project is completed to the highest standards.
- Project execution:
- Geological well design (PRG) for the Koło GT-2 well;
- Engineering and construction project for the geothermal heatplant, including the technical infrastructure;
- Geothermal pipeline project.
- Supervision of drilling and testing Koło GT-2 well;
- Supervision of geothermal doublet injection-production testing and cleaning;
- Submission of hydrogeologic documentation on the geothermal doublet;
- Submission of reservoir exploitation design
- Obtainment of exploitation concession
